What a night celebrating our Hamilton Azzurri seniors on Saturday!

From big wins and tough battles to grand final glory, there was plenty to celebrate as we wrapped up an incredible 2026 season.

A huge congratulations to all our players, coaches, managers and volunteers for everything you’ve put into the club this year. The commitment, and plenty of questionable football banter is what makes Azzurri what it is.

And a massive thank you to Hamilton North Bowling Club for hosting us and helping us celebrate the season.

Here’s to the players, teams and another season of the boys and girls in blue!

Bring on 2027!!

What a weekend for Hamilton Azzurri! Four Grand Finals, four incredible performances, and plenty of moments we’ll be talking about for a long time.

O35’s Friday B
A heartbreaking 2–1 result, but what an amazing effort from the team. You should be incredibly proud of what you achieved this season. PREMIERS!

AAM Saturday B
Locked at 2–2 after 90 minutes, then 3–3 after extra time, it all came down to penalties. And the boys delivered! A penalty shootout win, with our keeper pulling off the winning save, his THIRD penalty save of the shootout!

O35’s A/01
After a tense 0–0 first half, the boys came out firing after the break, scoring twice in quick succession to take a 2–0 victory!

ALL AGE WOMEN A
A dominant performance from start to finish saw the girls put Nelson Bay away 3–0, putting the perfect cherry on top of an absolutely incredible season. And what better way to seal it than with a hat trick from Shorty!

Congratulations to all on a fantastic season!

FORZA AZZURRI!

HUGE

TONIGHT!

While your older blues have already won the premiership and this is seen as a post season cup, it’s still nice to win.

Before we get going tonight we’d like to shout out to all of our amazing sponsors who have helped us to have such a sensational season, it was great to have them (or one of their husbands or brothers) available for our last home game of the season to snap this shot.

So thank you!!!

Chris Ford from Black Diamond Site Services

Adrian Ryan fromAirleck

Adriana Purlija from Moments with Adriana

Danilo Sciulli from Inspire Design Carpentry

Mick Zeens from Geranium Cottage Dorrigo

For those who don’t have their passports updated or can’t afford the flights to Tomaree our pals at the Southern Sharks will be live streaming. We obviously don’t have these funds to afford such wonderful equipment as we are the poorest and therefore most underdog club in the local area, but we are very grateful they have used their riches for good.

Tonight!

What a weekend of finals football for our Azzurri O35s!

O35s Friday B got the job done with a 3–2 win to book their spot in the Grand Final!

It was an all Azzurri clash on Saturday with O35s A/01 v A/02 going head to head, with A/01 coming away with a 3–0 win and securing their place in the big one!

O35’s A/04 put up a huge fight, finishing 3–3 at full time before heading to penalties, where they narrowly went down 5–7.

Congratulations to all our teams, now it’s all eyes on the Grand Finals this weekend! One game to go!
