Bit of a roller coaster weekend for the team at Black Pearl Newcastle last weekend.

We started well with fastest on the Prelude on Friday

Saturday we woke to pouring rain, the Awaba stage went ahead, racing through mud, huge puddles, and running water on all the trails. Sam was fastest on this stage as well, whilst Dane and I had mechanicals. Turbo Dave made it through.

Saturday was a very late night servicing bikes, brakes and motors.

Sunday we woke to blue skies. Sam had built a good lead, but halfway through a mechanical ended his day, robbing him of first overall.

Still we had a great weekend, learned a lot, and we'll come back stronger.
