Big congrats go to Reuben Thomas for his achieving his First Dan on Saturday the 20th of December .

For orchestrating the grading and helpers thst made Reuben earn his first Dan.
On another note Master Simon has resigned from the IMT to pursue he’s own direction after30 years.
We wish him all the best in his future endeavours .

28 years ago the IMT NSW come into fruitition, 13 instructors got together to form this organisation. Over the years instructors have come and gone. Literally thousands of students started the journey towards Black belt and beyond. Few have reached this Zenith.Not that it is unobtainable goal,but it a tough toad to follow. For those that have achieved this Zenith the rewards are life changing.

It was a quiet Advanced session on Sat 13 July with only 3 attendees but the show still went on. On top of all the Taekwondo skills & drills I gave them a solid workout. Here is a summary.

IMT 2024 events. Major change this year is that all advanced sessions and gradings are going to be held at West Pymble Hall. We have 2 Black Belt/ Dan gradings planned for July and December. 1 more week of holiday mode then back to normal training!

Congratulations to Zach Nguyen (from Gordon) recipient of IMT Black Belt of the Year Award for 2023. In typical fashion he was there today for the last class of the year to assist me with junior class and then do his own training afterwards.

7 students in attendance for yesterday's advanced session at West Pymble Dojang (Rohan and Chris hiding in 2nd row). Good mix of black belt set sparring, polishing up on brown belt forms and some "fun" kicking drills. Videos to follow. Note: next advanced session 7 Oct (no session in September)

Wifey and I have been watching Yes theory for over a year now , we were amazed by project iceman , an amazing adventure . Bruce Lee the best limitation is no limitation, Project Iceman proved that Limitations are Perceptions. Thank you yes theory for supporting this wild personal challenge and documenting it to share with everyone.
