Pre-Premier Team Highlights!
Huge congratulations to our 5 pre-premier dancers at Gosford! Some great results and for most of you your first time competing at Internationals!
Some highlights include:
🏆Sunday: placings in 10 yrs and under beginners at her first Internationals! Amazing effort to learn all the dances in time!
🏆 Jubilee: 3rd place in the duo choreography with Freya and a great effort across the weekend in a very strong intermediate group!
🏆 Verity: 1st place in the Intermediate Swords and other placings in the Intermediate section. A fantastic accomplishment at your first Internationals 👏
🏆 Mel R: 2nd place in the Beginners section! It’s awesome to see you keep improving each comp 👍
🏆 Lizzie: 3rd place in Beginners section 🤩 amazing effort at only your second competition 👏

Congratulations to our team of premier dancers on a very successful Gosford weekend!
Selected highlights from our premier team include:
🏆 Liz L: 2nd place in the 25 yrs & over Championship, including 2x1st placing. An incredible effort & so delighted to see you back on the championship stage 💙💛
🏆 Freya: 3rd place in 7-9 years Championship with 4x3rd placings! Your first top 3 placing, we couldn’t be prouder 🤩
🏆 Tarragon: 4th place in the 15 yrs Championship with 4x4th placings! Huge improvements over the weekend, keep working hard 👏👏
🏆 Charlotte: our lead choreographer with two fantastic dances! Placings in the 15/16 Pre Championship, including a 3rd in the ST 👍
🏆 Liz D: placings in all Pre Championship dances, including a 3rd in the ST! Lovely to see your beautiful daughter in matching aboyne outfit cheering you on 🥰

Another fabulous Melbourne Tartan Day Parade and performance yesterday in the CBD! The biggest crowd we’ve ever seen!

A big congratulations to Freya and Tarragon for yesterday’s efforts at the Grand Australasian Championships in Sydney!
🏆 5th place to Freya in the 7-9 years Championship, including a 3rd in the Fling! And a 4th place in the title Lilt. A fabulous effort in your 3rd championship 👏
🌟Lovely dancing from Tarragon in a very strong 14/15 years section. You keep improving every comp, keep it up! 4th place in the title BB.

We had a lovely time entertaining members, performing a selection of traditional Highland dances to an appreciative audience. A huge congratulations to all our dancers from Jamieson Studio who competed with confidence, determination, and beautiful dancing throughout the day. We are so proud of every single one of you! 💙

A fantastic weekend on the Gold Coast for our team of 5 dancers who travelled up for Champion of Champions! So proud of how hard you all worked in the lead up and of your performances on stage at this prestigious event. Shout out to our two Champion of Champions qualifiers Tarragon and Isobel - we hope it was a memorable experience for you!
Selected highlights included:
💙 Isobel: 3rd place in the 12 yrs Premier Gold Coast Challenge with a 1st place in the VM and placing and champ points in the 12/13 years Australian Championship
💙 Tarragon: 4th place in 15-17 years Premier trophy Barracks and 4th place in 15 yrs Premier Gold Coast Challenge
💙 Charlotte: 1st place in 15-17 years Restricted Premier Fling and 4th in the Lilt
💙 Gabby: 2nd in Novice 11-12 yrs Fling and several 5th and 6th places across the weekend
💙 Jubilee: a fabulous 5 step hornpipe! And beautiful dancing across two long days in a tough intermediate group
