I think we can all agree, this rain is amazing and very much overdue so we are all very thankful its finally here 🌧☂️🙌
Unfortunately, it also means the grounds are now closed 🙃 With more rain predicted for the remainder of the week, fridays jump night and Sundays muster have been cancelled.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: WEPC Cross Country Bookings & Confirmation Process

We’d like to remind all riders that all bookings for the cross country course at Waterford MUST be made at least 48hrs in advance through Nominate. This is not a new policy and has been inplace for the past 3 years. To ensure your booking is valid and you have authorized access to the grounds, please keep the following process in mind:
• Check Availability on Nominate: When you go to book on Nominate, any planned closures, unavailable dates, or specific notices will be clearly stated right at the start. Please double-check these dates before attempting to book.
• Nominate Confirmation: Once you complete your booking, you will receive an immediate invoice/receipt email from Nominate. If you do not receive this email right away, your booking has not gone through.
• Club Confirmation Email: Access is only confirmed once you receive a direct follow-up email from the club.
• If approved: You will receive a confirmation email thanking you for your booking. This will include your access/gate code and any rules/updates for using the grounds at that time.
• If unavailable: If the grounds are closed or unavailable for any reason during your requested time, you will receive an email letting you know that we cannot accommodate the booking for that date. You will then have the choice of moving to a different date or have your booking refunded.
If you have not received a confirmation email from the club, we have not received your booking, and access to the course is not permitted. This is for insurance purposes and also for the safety of horse and rider.

Sadly last weekend we had two riders (non members) use the XC course when the grounds were closed due to an event. They did not book or pay for the use of the course and failed to leave the grounds immediately when directed by OC.

It has also been brought to the OCs attention that these riders have misrepresented these events and posted derogatory comments about the club/committee on social media. This behaviour is disappointing to see and also goes against the clubs code of conduct. Both riders have now been banned from any and all club days/events/ground usages etc.

We understand that this behaviour does not represent the majority and we aim to continue to open our facility to non-members between events.

We kindly ask you to familiarize yourself with the nominate booking system and wait for a confirmation email from the OC before entering the facility.

Thank you to everyone else for your cooperation and for helping us keep Waterford safe and organized for all our riders!
