The weekend is almost here, and that means it's time for another great day at the SSAA East Gippsland – Buchan Rifle Range!

Whether you're looking to sight in a new rifle, enjoy a casual day on the firing line, or simply catch up with fellow shooters, we'd love to see you there.

🕘 Starting from 9:00AM

Everyone is welcome, from first-time shooters through to experienced marksmen.

🔫 .22LR rifles are available for hire, making it the perfect opportunity to introduce a friend or family member to the sport.

We're pleased to announce that EFTPOS is now available at the Buchan Rifle Range!

No more worrying if you've forgotten to bring cash—we can now accept EFTPOS payments for range fees and targets.

Please note: EFTPOS transactions incur a 1.6% surcharge.

This is your opportunity to hear what's been happening within the branch, have your say on its future, and help shape the direction of our club for the year ahead.

📢 V19 SSAA EAST GIPPSLAND – BUCHAN RIFLE RANGE

Annual General Meeting 2026

Our Annual General Meeting is just around the corner, and we'd love to see as many members as possible in attendance.

Join us at the Bairnsdale RSL for an evening of good food, great company, and an opportunity to have your say in the future of our branch.

🍽️ Dinner: From 6:00PM (Meals available from the bistro)
🕖 Annual General Meeting: 7:15PM

Please note that this year's AGM will commence 15 minutes earlier than our usual meeting time. This will allow plenty of time to cover the agenda without keeping everyone out late on a cold winter evening.

Some of the key topics to be discussed include:

• Election of the 2026–2027 Committee
• Progress and planning for the Toilet Block
• Front Fence upgrades
• Future plans and direction for the branch
• General business and member discussion

Whether you've been a member for years or have only recently joined, your ideas, feedback, and involvement are what help keep our branch moving forward.

Unfortunately, due to the very low attendance this evening, the V19 June General Meeting was unable to proceed and has been cancelled.

A sincere thank you to the small number of members who braved the cold and rain to attend and support the range. Your ongoing commitment is greatly appreciated.

This does, however, highlight the importance of member participation in the running and future direction of our range. Next month is the SSAA East Gippsland - Buchan Rifle Range Annual General Meeting, one of the most important meetings on our calendar.

Members can expect an email in the coming weeks containing the minutes from last year's AGM, along with the May General Meeting minutes. We will be electing a new committee for the 2026–2027 term. The committee plays a vital role in ensuring the continued operation and development of our range, so we encourage all members to make every effort to attend and have their say.
