"๐'๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐."
I hear this most weeks, and I understand exactly why.
But I don't think it's usually true, and I mean that as encouragement rather than a correction.
๐๐๐ง๐'๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ ๐ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐.
A woman lists what she's tried, and it's a genuinely long list.
Which is a lot of effort. Years of it, often.
But look at the shape of that list. Almost every item is the same category of action: add something, remove something, or try harder at something.
What's usually missing is the question underneath. Not "what should I do next?" but "what is my body already carrying that's making everything I try land badly?"
That's not one more thing to add to the list.
It's a different question, and it tends to change which items on the list were ever going to work.

Almost every conversation about inflammation starts with food. And food matters, Iโd never argue otherwise.
But Iโve watched women eat impeccably for two years and still feel inflamed, and then be told the answer is to remove another food group.
At some point that stops being a plan and starts being a punishment.
So here are five drivers that have nothing to do with your plate. Sleep. Unfinished stress. Movement at either extreme. Isolation. And everything youโre carrying and not saying out loud.
Your body doesnโt file these separately from what you eat. It adds them to the same pile.
Which is why โeat cleanerโ so often stops working, you were already doing the one part you had control over, while four others sat untouched.
If you want to understand whatโs actually keeping your body stuck, Iโve made a free training that goes through it properly. Itโs under 30 minutes, and at the end it unlocks a personalised CALM Body Blueprint, a short guided assessment that shows you which area to start with. Not a generic plan. Your starting point. ๐

There's an enormous amount of conversation about GLP-1 right now, and almost all of it is about medication.
Here's the part I find more interesting: GLP-1 is already part of your biology. Your body has its own signalling systems involved in appetite, fullness and metabolic health. They were there before any of this was in the news.
Which opens up a much better question than "how do I lose weight."
How well are those systems currently being supported?
What role is food playing, not just how much, but what kind?
What about muscle?
What about sleep, which affects appetite signalling more than most people realise?
What about stress, which affects nearly everything?
I'm not telling anyone what to do about medication. That's a conversation for you and your doctor, and I mean that genuinelyโฆ it's not my lane and I won't pretend otherwise.
What I will say is that weight, appetite and metabolic health have never been about one hormone, one product or one decision. Your body is far more interconnected than that.
Which of those four, food, muscle, sleep, stress โdo you suspect is the weak link for you right now?
I'd be curious to know.

I don't share many of these, so I want to be careful about what I'm actually claiming.
Trixina worked through the CALM Reset Protocol. What struck me about her reflection wasn't a number or a dramatic before-and-after. It was the word "clear."
She said the method gave her a clear path to move through each step, and that having that path was what allowed her to be ready to make changes.
Ready. That's the part I think gets skipped.
Because information isn't the scarce thing anymore. You can find a thousand protocols before breakfast. What's scarce is knowing which step you're actually on, and what comes next.
An overwhelmed body doesn't need more options. It needs an order.
If you've ever had a moment where something about your body finally made sense, what was it? I'd like to hear it.

"I tried fasting and it made me feel terrible, so I must be one of those people it doesn't work for."
I hear this so often, and I don't think it's usually true.
Fasting asks your body to adapt. Adapting takes resources. If your system is already spending everything it has on poor sleep, ongoing stress, inflammation or emotional load, a longer fasting window doesn't become a helpful challenge, it becomes one more demand on a body that's already at capacity.
So it isn't that fasting failed you. It's that it arrived before your body had capacity for it.
Which is genuinely good news, because timing is one of the few things here you can actually change.
Four signs your body isn't ready yet: your sleep is already unreliable.
You're wired at night and flat in the morning.
Stress hits harder than it used to and takes longer to leave.
And you've fasted before and felt anxious or shaky rather than hungry.
If you recognise yourself in two or more, please don't read that as "never." Read it as "not this month."

There's a pattern I see constantly, and it's an easy one to miss because it looks like the opposite of what it is.
A woman is doing more than ever. More discipline, more structure, more protocols. And she's getting less back from her body every month.
Then she concludes she needs to try harder. Which is precisely the wrong direction.
Four signs a body is asking for less, not more:
You feel worse after the workout, not better. Not tired-satisfied โ wiped out, for a day or two.
You're wired at night and flattened in the morning. Your energy has inverted itself.
Every new protocol works for about a fortnight. Then it stops, and you assume you did it wrong.
You're hungry in a way food doesn't settle. Often a signal about stress and blood sugar, not appetite.
None of these are diagnostic. They're patterns worth noticing.
If two or more sound familiar, I'd gently suggest the next thing to add isn't a thing at all.
What's one demand you could take off your body this week?
Name it in the comments - writing it down makes it about ten times more likely to happen.
