Ali is an Advanced Sports Dietitian and Accredited Practising Dietitian with more than 20 years of experience in high-performance nutrition, working with athletes from developing juniors through to Australian Olympians.

During the session, Ali will help swimmers and parents better understand how much energy growing athletes need to support everyday life, growth, training, recovery and performance.

We’ll also explore the signs that a swimmer may not be eating enough, plus practical ways to build meals and snacks that properly fuel busy training schedules.

🔥 CALLUM SIMPSON | PARA PAN PACIFICS 🔥

A huge few days ahead for Callum Simpson as he takes on the 2026 Para Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, racing from 28–30 August. 🌏🏊‍♂️

Callum will be representing Australia across three individual events:

🇦🇺 Day 1: 100m Freestyle
🇦🇺 Day 2: 400m Freestyle
🇦🇺 Day 3: 200m Individual Medley

Callum may also have the opportunity to represent Australia as part of a relay team, with selections to be confirmed during the Championships. 🇦🇺

We’re incredibly proud to see Callum competing on the international stage and know the whole Phoenix community will be cheering him on.

A huge congratulations to our very own Callum Simpson, named Multi-Class Swimmer of the Meet at the 2026 Hancock Prospecting Queensland Short Course Championships! 🏆

Callum delivered an outstanding swim in the 100m Freestyle S8, clocking 58.94 and scoring an impressive 915 MCPS points.

Representing Queensland at the National School Sport Australia Swimming Championships at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Fai competed against the nation's best, delivering strong individual performances while also helping Queensland onto the relay podium.

Reaching the top five in an individual event at a national championship is an outstanding achievement, and backing it up with a silver medal as part of the Queensland relay team capped off a fantastic week in the pool.
