Our 2026 Over 54s Division 2 winning team.

Fabulous effort by the Over 54s team to take out the Division 2 final today. A big thank you to Chris Wallwork for coaching, Garry Royle our playing manager, Ross Barber for organising our frat house and catering and sharing the driving with Hoody, and all the chefs, including the Swedish Chef MG. Thank you to all players for giving up your time, especially our two South Australians and our Victorian to help us field such a great team to play in.

Our 54s men have done it!!!
The frat house obviously worked a treat and our boys have come away as State Champions in the 54s Division 2 Final.

Congratulations to all on such a successful tournament. Well done to all involved in this winning team.

For those that are interested, time to start thinking about participating in December. The Wollongong beaches are great at that time of the year! Not sure what age groups will be put in place but a greater Queensland representation would be great to see.

Hockey Australia is pleased to announce that Wollongong will host the 2026 HA Indoor Masters Invitational, with the Illawarra Hockey Centre confirmed as the official venue for the national event.

Set to take place from 4–13 December 2026, the tournament will bring together more than 400 participants from across Australia, with men’s and women’s Masters teams competing across multiple age divisions in a two-stage national indoor format.
