Travelling only Kawana Way..oops someone tried driving off road..they are really bogged now.

Sitting at the Bus stop on Dixon Road after buying my delicious coffee and watching the young people ride past on their bike. Yes they all have helmets on its just a shame they aren't actually clipped up. Straps swinging in the breeze.

Wow watching Sunrise this morning and they had a session on Dementia. A quote from the brain specialists " A dance a day keeps Dementia away" . Let's get square dancing....or round dancing .... or clogging..

The new year has started and some groups are back in full swing.

We were very fortunate over the Christmas break to receive a grant from the Sunshine Coast Regional Council to enable us to trim branches off some of the large trees in the property which had been deemed dangerous. Our sincere thanks to the Council for the grant funding. ..

Is there someone out there that is interested in raking up leaves etc at our centre. A couple of hours a week. If interested please private message us.

We are getting some rain Yippee!!!

Wow 4 inches of rain yesterday and well over 2 inches since 8am this morning.. unfortunately we are getting a lot of run off from next door. Have to put out some sand bags to stop the erosion.. Hopefully that will stop when they install the next lot of drains.

The Centre celebrated its 40th Anniversary last weekend. It was great to see so many visitors at this event.
A fun atmosphere filled the hall.
Long time attendees Grace and Annette cut the celebration cake.
Special thanks to all our visitors - interstate, Bundaberg and local clubs. Also thanks to Matthew Mills , Glenn Wilson and Elaine Bebb Davis for calling during the night.
Dancers who had not finished the mainstream programme were catered for in a bracket or two.
