Shoutout to Tim and Roger, who head to Sydney this weekend — flying the flag for The Hive and representing Qld in the 60+ team at the Australian Masters Cup.
The Masters Cup brings together 50+, 60+ and 70+ teams from every state, with the best combined result taking overall honours. Qld took it out last year, and we know Tim and Roger will be giving their best to help Qld retain the title.
Both earned their spot through our AMC League earlier this year competing at States in July.
Hoping your drops, d***s and drives are on point.

🇦🇺 HUGE NEWS FROM THE HIVE
We’re beyond proud to share that our very own Andrew Kratzmann — Director and Head Coach at The Pickleball Hive — has earned a call-up to represent Australia’s 50s team at the 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, Vietnam! 🌏
Andrew steps in following a withdrawal due to injury and there’s no one we’d back more to answer the call.
We couldn’t be prouder to have him wearing the green and gold. 💚💛
Go Andrew! Go Australia! 🇦🇺

Tuesday Night Mixed League wrapped up this week with some epic matches and rallies on court!
Congrats to the WooTown Lobsters (Anthony, Leanne and Grant S) taking out the win in a close 5–4 final against 2 Boets and a Sheila (Grant E, Tim and Juanita).
Pickle Prayers (Rodney, Emily and Brian) claimed bronze over 3 Beaches and a Paddle (Trudi, Kathryn and Glee), with The Shafty Bastards and Sunny Coast Slices rounding out 5th and 6th.
This has been such a great first league of mixed teams — so wonderful seeing everyone’s games improve so much, not to mention the fun off the court.
Next league starts Sept 1, with registration opening next week
