Always bittersweet finishing up with a long-term client, but so stoked to see how far Alex has come with his health.

Alex runs two successful businesses and had started to notice he just wasn’t feeling like himself.

After a long bodybuilding deficit, he was continually being told to drop his calories further and further, until eventually it started taking a toll on multiple systems in his body.

We worked through a hell of a lot during our time together, but the wins ultimately came down to Alex being willing to put in the work and consistently follow the personalised protocol we built around his bloodwork, symptoms and health assessment.

There’s genuinely no bigger dopamine hit for me as a coach than watching someone’s health and quality of life change for the better.

Especially when they finally start getting answers to the question they’ve been asking themselves for months or even years:

“Why the hell do I feel like this?”

Massive credit to Alex for the work he’s put in.

And for all the tradies following me, go check out his business Two3rds | Functional Workwear - easily some of the best workwear in the game.

If you’ve been wondering “what the hell is going on in my body?” and you’re ready to actually start working it out, I’m currently taking on clients inside the MHC Inner Circle 👊

Comment or DM me “MHC” and I’ll see if you’re a good fit.

Cardiovascular disease is still one of the biggest health issues facing men.

If you’ve got a family history of heart attacks, strokes or cardiovascular disease, it’s worth looking deeper than just your standard cholesterol test.

A comprehensive lipid panel alongside markers like ApoB, Lipoprotein(a), homocysteine, inflammation, blood sugar control and your Omega-3 Index can give you a much better look at your overall risk profile.

Don’t wait until there’s a problem to start checking this stuff.

DM me “MHC” if you want to learn how we can run these tests and get a much deeper look at your health.

Symptoms and blood test results don’t always match up.

Sometimes it’s a few simple changes and you’re only weeks away from feeling like a completely different person.

Other times, testing exposes deeper issues that have been sitting under the surface for years, never properly picked up or addressed.

That’s why I don’t treat a blood test or a symptom in isolation.

The goal is to understand the full story, work out what’s actually driving the problem, and address it properly.

DM me “MHC” to learn more about getting a comprehensive blood test and personalised protocol 👊

Incorrect preparation for bloods can have you chasing solutions for problems that don’t even exist.

Training, fasting, alcohol, the flu, sleep, supplements and even the time of day can shift certain markers.

Keep your preparation consistent each time you test so you’re comparing apples with apples!

Getting hit in the nuts might be something you laughed off years ago.

But significant testicular trauma, or a history of testicular torsion, can sometimes have longer-term consequences.

Your te**es aren’t just there for fertility. They’re responsible for s***m production and produce the majority of your testosterone.

Damage to testicular tissue or loss of blood supply during torsion can potentially affect:

- S***m count and quality
- Fertility
- Testosterone production
- Testicular size and function

This doesn’t mean every knock to the nuts causes hormone or fertility issues. Most minor injuries won’t.

But if you’ve had serious testicular trauma or torsion in the past and you’re now dealing with fertility issues or symptoms of low testosterone, it’s worth including that history in the assessment rather than ignoring it.

DM me “MHC” for bloodwork analysis and 1 on 1 coaching 👊

I’ve now had plenty of clients come to me after doing all the testing for their IBS symptoms.

Colonoscopy - clear.
Endoscopy - clear.

Yet they’re still dealing with bloating, reflux, burping, gas, constipation, diarrhoea, food reactions and abdominal discomfort.

A clear scope is great news, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t gut issues present.

These tests can rule out a lot of serious problems, but they don’t tell you everything about bacterial overgrowth, digestion, gut bacteria or motility.

If your tests are “normal” but your gut still feels anything but normal, there may be more to look at.
