The Central Coast Sharks would like to announce our Come & Try Day to kick off our preparations for HGL Season 2027. Welcome to all to try our sport and find the position that works best for you!

Where: Buff Point Oval, Buff Point
When: Sunday 1st November from 9am
What to Bring: Boots & a water bottle

FAQs:
- What competitions are you entering in 2027? At this stage, we only plan to enter a team in the mens 18+ HGL tackle competition. We welcome all athletes to come train with the team however to learn the skills of the game.
- Where can I get gear? Gear is available for purchase from many online stores. There are also second hand resellers who make gear available periodically. Reach out if you need assistance sorting equipment.
- When is the season? The season typically runs from late January until mid April. We will share further details once they are made available.
- When is training? Training this season will run on Tuesday nights (6-8pm) and Sunday mornings (9-11am).

Tough result in the end, but what a season it’s been.

The boys didn’t come away with the win, and full credit to the Bombers — they’ve been an absolute challenge all year and earned it when it mattered most.

But this doesn’t define us. This season showed the grit, growth, and brotherhood in this group, and it’s something to be proud of.

Now it’s time to reset. We’ll use the off-season to regroup, rebuild, and come back stronger than ever.

This isn’t the end — it’s fuel for what’s next. 💪

The sharks make their 2nd bowl appearance in the 3 years they have been a part of the HGL.

🏆 MVP SPOTLIGHT — THE BIG MEN UP FRONT 🏆

Sean Kanyasi • Ben Stanhope • John Keane 💪🏈

Week in and week out, the success of our offence starts in the trenches — and these three men are a huge reason why the Sharks offence continues to dominate.

Sean Kanyasi, Ben Stanhope, and John Keane put in the hard work every snap, battling in the trenches, winning the line of scrimmage, and creating the lanes that allow our running backs to explode up field and our quarterbacks the time they need to make plays.

Their effort may not always show up on the stat sheet, but make no mistake — they are pivotal pieces in making our offence as dangerous as it is.

Relentless blocks.
Hard-nosed football.
True trench warriors.
