Last night we raced the opening round at Bunbury Speedway as the support division for the Round 6 of the Australia vs USA sprintcar speedweek With 23 nominations for streetstocks, the field was split into two heats.
I started Heat 1 from P1. With the track wet and slippery and no clear racing line, I chose to run the bottom of the track where I had the most grip. That plan worked perfectly, and I crossed the line first for my first ever street stock heat race win.
Heat 2 was run on a dry track. I started from P9 and finished in the same position.
These results placed me P4 for the 20-lap feature. Unfortunately, after only a few laps, my race came to an early end when the diff failed causing the tailshaft bolts to shear off leaving me stranded on the track and requiring to be pushed onto the infield. With a couple of weeks break from racing, hopefully Dad finds sometime to give me a hand a get it back on track.

Thanks to Bunbury Speedway for putting on a great night of racing.

Thanks to my sponsors who continue to support me.

A bit late posting but last weekend after a last minute decision we decided to race Tyrepower Manjimup Speedway . It has been about a year and a half since I had raced here but I was keen to get back on track. With only 11 of us, we were combined into one heat race per round. I had a good night where I was focused on improving my confidence going the opposite way. I made quite a few mistakes especially with corner 1 and 2 (3 and 4 going the normal way) but I was happy with that. A few minor things to fix before we go back to collie on the 20th of December.

Heat 1: P1 → F3Heat 2: P6 → F6Heat 3: P9 → F8Feature: P5 → F5

Happy with how the night went and always good to get more laps in!

First time doing the Street Stock Coalminer event at Collie Speedway and it was equal parts nerve-wracking and exciting. With 40 cars originally nominated for the two nights, I knew it was going to be a challenge.
We kicked things off with time trials to set the grids, and I surprised myself by setting 16th fastest lap time! That put me in Heat 1 off P4. Unfortunately, I overthought things, made a mistake, spun out and brought on the yellows, which sent me to the rear for the restart. With only a few laps left, there wasn’t much time to recover and I crossed the line 9th. Bit of car damage was done as another car slid into me. Luckily it was only cosmetic damage and we were able to repair it in the pits.
Heat 2 was more settled: started P5, finished P5.That placed me in the odd points feature race, where I started P12 and came home P13. After Night 1 was sitting 23rd overall.

Day 2
Where I finished from night 1 meant I had 2 opportunities left to make the A main. I started in Qualifying 1 from P5. It was always going to be a tough battle as everyone wants to secure their spot. I was diving ok however I was sent rear as I caused a restart which meant I had to fight my way to get to top 3 to get into A main. I didn’t make it and ended up 7th. This made me having to fight in the b main where I started in p-11 and would have to finish in the top 4 to transfer to the A main. Finally luck was on my side for once (i had never finished a b main in my junior years) and I not only managed to finish the B main but I was able to finish in 4th. This put me in p23 for the A main. I was both excited and nervous wondering if I could keep going for the 54 laps. Unfortunately after lap 24 the race was declared as it was raining and the track was extremely slippery and vision was poor,I finished in 21st position. Im extremely happy to have been able to make an A main for a such big event.

I would like to thank the other drivers for making this a memorable event for me and to the collie volunteers for a great weekend of racing.

Also to dad - thanks for giving me a pep talk and always being there and supporting and helping no matter what. And to Teliah Bosley thanks for coming night 1. You are always either encouraging me or telling me I was crap

Thanks goes to my sponsor for their continued support

60 Laps for 60 Years – Albany Speedway 🏁

What a weekend! The 60 Laps for 60 Years at Albany Speedway Club was an awesome event. With the event being capped at 24 streeties we therefore had two rounds of heats, split into two groups. I managed to finish both of mine which were combined with Levos heat race points and put me starting P12 for the feature. I wasn’t sure I’d make it through all 30 laps — but I surprised myself and came home 8th without getting lapped (luckily for the stoppages though )
My heats and feature results put Levo out of P16 for his feature, and he also got through to the end. Not sure where we ended up overall as a team, but it was such an enjoyable weekend and I’m really glad to have been part of the event and to be one of the few teams with both cars finishing all the heats and features. Big thanks to everyone who helped make it happen and to Levo for the opportunity!

Thanks to the volunteers and officials for putting on a great show. Also thanks to Alyssa’s Photography for the great shots

Today Levo and I are teaming up to celebrate Albany Speedway Club for the 60th Anniversary Teams event

There are 2 heats of 8 laps each These points are added together to work out the A main 30 laps each grid daw. Then where we finish the points are added together to determine out placings.

With the summer seadon kicking off down south, we headed to Collie Speedway for the first round of the season. Only 14 cars nominated, so I went in thinking it would be a nice, chilled race meet.
Heat 1:I started in P7 and was racing pretty well—until the final lap. I came around the corner too fast and couldn’t avoid the wall. Didn’t even make it across the finish line.
Back in the pits, Dad, Jack Favero, Jorja Favero and Teliah Bosley helped me fix the car—big thanks to them for jumping in.
Heat 2:I was supposed to start pole, but we decided to hang back and run at the rear just to make sure the car was running right. I went out, but something still didn’t feel right so I pulled infield. Came back in, and we decided to call it a night and put it on the trailer. Back in the shed this week to try and fix the problem.

Yesterday was a hot day out at Ellenbrook Speedway, and with a strong field of 22 street stock cars, I was stoked to be back behind the wheel at one of my favourite tracks. The surface was a lot drier compared to the last race meet, so I made a few changes to the car setup to suit the conditions.
We had two heats, and I had a solid run in both, managing to finish them cleanly and unscathed. For the feature race, I started back in P16. A few laps in, I got tagged and spun, ending up in the infield. With no orange lights coming on, I had to make a quick call — stay put or rejoin the race and risk going a lap down. I chose to re-enter and push on.
From there, I managed to avoid a few incidents involving other cars and kept it steady, bringing it home in P11. Still plenty to learn, but I’m really enjoying the journey and gaining more experience every lap.

Thanks to dad and Jake Fisher for helping me in the pits throughout the day

Bit late posting but after the last few race meets at Ellenbrook Speedway being cancelled we finally got a chance to get on the track last weekend. With a field of 22 street stocks we were split in 2. With 2 heats and a feature it was going to be tough. Still learning the set up of my car I’m pretty happy with my day. With only a few scrapes with the wall in the 20 lap feature my car came away pretty unscathed. I managed to finish all 20 laps with no car troubles. Now to wash the car to be back for the next Ellenbrook meet.
