Damo earlier in the season informed the club that he would be stepping down from the role as coach at the end of this season!
The Bunbury Eagles FC would like to thank Damo for the last 2 years as a full-time coach and as always the commitment he gives to the club week in week out! He also took the club to, back to back final campaigns for the first time. With the 2025 campaign being a grand final appearance. We wish Damo all the best in his future coaching 💛💙

Damo won't be lost on us and we look forward to seeing him around the nest 🦅

Today wasn't our day, Congratulations to Busselton Bombers Football Club who played a flawless game from the first bounce.

Although today was a tough one for our club you can count that the work will be going in to go bigger and better in season 2027!!

Yes you have read that correctly, Due to SWFL oval hire clashes, Boyanup Boars Football Club have opened up their home for the Bombers!

Busselton Bombers Football Club hosts Bunbury Eagles Football Club for the last spot in the Onshore Cup Football Association Grand Final against Augusta Abalones Football Club next Saturday!

Busselton has had the bragging rights this season winning both encounters against Bunbury.

But don't write off the Eagles who have found some good form in the back end of the year!

This game is going to be an epic encounter on neutral territory as Augusta waits!

Head down to The Nest tonight for a massive night!!!

Our Co-Captain Wes is shaving his hair to raise awareness for the Black Dog Institute, with 1 in 5 people affected with mental health It's such an important message and something the club is so proud of Wes for!!!

We also have heard a rumour of Sammy the emu from our major sponsors Samios Plumbing Bunbury may be making a surprise visit for the night!

We have the BBQ fired up with snags, Footy on the TV and the important team read out for tomorrow's must win final against Busselton with a shot at the Onshore Cup Football Association 2026 Grand-Final!!!

We would love to see all our supporters,kids, sponsors and members down tonight to get behind Wes and the black dog institute, and then tomorrow as we look to turn Boyanup yellow and blue!!!

Unfortunately our game won't go ahead tomorrow due to Vasse not having enough players to fill a side.

As disappointing as it is we fully understand that this would have been a very tough decision to make for Danna and the squad and we wish them all the best into next season.

We now move our focus to next weekend, where we will play off for a spot in the 2026 grand final against the losing side in Augusta or Busselton in this weekend's qualifying final.

We will be holding an intra club scratch match tonight at The Nest to keep the boys firing for next Saturday.

All supporters are welcomed to come down and support.

Unfortunately due to low numbers Vasse Kakkas Football Club has had to make the tough decision to forfeit their elimination final against Bunbury Eagles Football Club tomorrow.

We understand it's a disappointing way to start the finals but understand how tough the decision would have been to make.

Bunbury Eagles will go straight through and verse the losing team out of Augusta Abalones Football Club and Busselton Bombers Football Club next Saturday.
