CLUB TO CLUB IS BACK!

We’re kicking off the 2026/27 racing season with the return of Club to Club, taking over the Swan River from Maylands to East Fremantle!

Whether you’re chasing a bit of competition, getting back into racing after winter, or just looking for a fun day on the water, there’s something for everyone. 🙌🏼

💦 THE WHOLE HOG | 21km
Maylands ➡️ Hurricane
For those brave enough to take on the full river course!

💥 THE HALF RUN | 11km
Narrows Bridge ➡️ Hurricane

👊 KIDS VS ADULTS
A fun mixed event with the kids and adults battling it out!

♿ PARA SHORT COURSE | 4km
A shorter course designed to get our Para paddlers out on the water and into the action.

Race craft: OC1 | OC2 | OC6 | V1 | V3 | SUP

And if you’re keen to paddle but don’t have a team or a canoe, don’t let that stop you! Canoes will be available for loan, with Hurricane Paddling Crew and Fremantle Outrigger Canoe Club helping make the event accessible to everyone.

Introduction
Hurricane is opening the 2026/27 racing season with the return of the Club to Club.
Come on up to the Swan River to test out your winter training with a choice of 2 senior races on the
day. The ‘whole hog’ 21 kms from Perth outriggers in Maylands down to Hurricane home base or the
‘half run’ from the Narrows Bridge to Hurricane – 11km. As well as the ‘Kids vs adults’ 11km distance
run with a change over at Point Walter and the new Para-Short course, for our Para paddlers to dip
their toes in to racing.
All designed to be a bit of fun with some competition thrown in, let’s wake up those winter muscles
and get your bum in a seat. The field will be open to OC1, V1, OC2, SUP and OC6, which will be run
as a mixed event. So if you can’t field a full team grab a bum from another club and get out on that
water.
Its going to be a jam packed day and we would love to see you all there to kick the season off with
some fun. There’s something for everyone in this event so get involved
