Cricket Catholic education was first established in Bunbury by the Sisters of Mercy in 1883 in St. Joseph’s School. Francis Xavier’s Boys School.
In 1954 the Marist Brothers arrived and opened St. In 1972 the Bishop of Bunbury decided to amalgamate the two schools into a co-educational Catholic College. As a result Bunbury Catholic College opened in 1973 to cater for Catholics around the Bunbury region. 52nd AUSTRALIAN MARIST CRICKET CARNIVAL: SALE VICTORIA
Once again Bunbury Catholic College Cricket First XI are raising funds to help subsidise the cost of travelling to Victoria in December 2026 and we are asking if your business can and is willing to sponsor the team this year.
The Marist Cricket Carnival is open to all Catholic High Schools in Australia that have a link with the Marist Brothers.
Bunbury Catholic College is the only school from country Western Australian to attend these carnivals.
As part of our fundraising, we offer local businesses the opportunity to be one of our shirt sponsors for $100 or more. All sponsors have the right to display their company name on the back of our team shirt that the boys wear to each game and all official functions. We will also promote the sponsorship on our social media and in our College newsletter.

In our last game of the year in the Kim Hughes Shield we defeated Bunbury Cathedral Grammar by 142 runs.
Batting first 8/265. O'Rourke 163; Charles 23 & Delfs 16.
Bowling Knox 3/27 off 6.5 ov; Tyrrell 3/17 off 5 ov.
Nice finish
In his last game for the Red Caps our skip Riley finished with 163 runs off 115 ball. Hitting 16 fours and 8 sixes.
