Cricket Catholic education was first established in Bunbury by the Sisters of Mercy in 1883 in St. Joseph’s School. Francis Xavier’s Boys School.

In 1954 the Marist Brothers arrived and opened St. In 1972 the Bishop of Bunbury decided to amalgamate the two schools into a co-educational Catholic College. As a result Bunbury Catholic College opened in 1973 to cater for Catholics around the Bunbury region. Bunbury Catholic College draws its students from the Greater Bunbury area which has a population in the vicinity of 85 000. Bunbury itself

In our last game of the year in the Kim Hughes Shield we defeated Bunbury Cathedral Grammar by 142 runs.

Batting first 8/265. O'Rourke 163; Charles 23 & Delfs 16.

Bowling Knox 3/27 off 6.5 ov; Tyrrell 3/17 off 5 ov.

In his last game for the Red Caps our skip Riley finished with 163 runs off 115 ball. Hitting 16 fours and 8 sixes.

Franklin - Hicks 31 off 51. Knox 3/26 off 8 overs; O'Rourke 2/13 off 8. Big wrap to Marwick picking up a wicket maiden in his first over for the Red Caps.
