Earlier today at the completion of the Country Carnival, Badminton WA held a ceremony that recognised the contributions of three members. Amongst those was our very own Life Member, Robert Italiano, who was awarded Life Membership of Badminton WA.
Below is a link to the footage of the ceremony, awarding Robert with this very prestigious award for the decades of work and commitment he has shown, sharing his passion for our Association with countless players, both young and old.
Our thanks go to Badminton WA Greg Vellacot and Dr Judith Cousins for their advocacy in presenting Robert as a nominee at the recent Badminton WA AGM and through the subsequent voting process that saw the culmination of the presenting of that award today.
Congratulations to Robert for an amazing life achievement in his contribution to the betterment of Badminton in our State. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the "Woman behind the Man"-Minnie Italiano, who has contributed every bit as much as Robert in her own way, being "Mum" to so many junior players over decades. Thank you Minnie ❤️❤️

We just wanted to let you know that this coming long weekend our Centre will be booked out from 5pm on Friday, 29th May to Monday, 1st June at 9.30am for the annual State Youth Games.

Unfortunately tonight’s social session is cancelled due to a power outage in the area.

Our social sessions on Friday, 29/5 and Sunday 31/5 will not go ahead and no casual weekend bookings will be possible.

Our next available social session will be on Monday, 1st June at 9.30am with a possible Monday pm session from 7pm depending on numbers-indicate your intention to attend Monday night please on our WhatsApp group.
