Saturday afternoon saw WA’s Development skaters hit the floor at the Morley Rollerdrome for an action-packed showcase hosted by the Morley Panthers Rollerskating Club.
From fast-paced Shoot the Ducks to impressive Development Quartets, the afternoon was full of energy, skill, and determination as skaters gave it their all out on the rink.
A massive thank you to the Morley Panthers for hosting such a fantastic event and creating an amazing atmosphere for skaters, families, and supporters alike. Congratulations to every competitor who took to the floor and represented their clubs and the future of WA artistic rollerskating so proudly!

Our first Development competition for 2026 will be hosted by WA's newest artistic club, South West Stars Rollerskating Club, in Donnybrook. This event will also mark their very first time hosting an inter club competition. Make a day of it - or better yet, a weekend of it - with plenty to see and do in Donnybrook. We look forward to supporting this exciting new club and kicking off the 2026 season together.

On Sunday, we closed out the skating year with the 2025 Development Championships, showcasing 27 skaters from the Morley Panthers and Cobras Rollerskating Clubs. Huge thanks to all the volunteers who made the day such a success—our judges Peter, Helen, Rachel, Maia, Nicola, Mathew, and Leeanne; calculators Lowella and Deanne; MCs Gabby and Woen; and our always-helpful errand runner, Catherine. It’s been wonderful to watch these skaters grow over the year, and we wish them all the best as they move on to new grades in the years ahead.
