A cool start to the 400 yard shoot but still a great time with a great attendance.

Cool, overcast, light switching wind and no mirage made it difficult early in stage one. Stage two gave us some mirage to read but do I need I say the wind reved up so there was no gain to speak of. Still a few managed pins. While Malcolm Dawson SPC 105.013 and Mark Morrissey SPCO 105.009 managed the only roosters.
500 yards next week.

Well we all lined up for the 300 yards on a beautiful day, then the wind arrived to liven up a dull day.

Mixed day of fortunes today from retiring due to problems with scopes, to pins (7 for Lynal). Jenny Turner in FSB managed a125.011 and rosters to Lyndal Ferrara in F/open 126.015 and Malcolm Dawson in SPC 105.015. Well done those who had a win over the conditions.

A windy and wet shoot , a bit miserable but still fun.

Overcast cold and some drizzle were the good points of the day. Someone said the conditions were horrid but personaly. I didn't think they were that good. The scores weren't too good but we still had a laugh and good time. Much better than staying at home.
300 yards next week. (At least the targets are closer).
