The club is in the best of hands with Jo and Dave. I wish them all the very best with the journey they are now on.

My last day is Friday. I will be at the club Thursday and Friday morning for anyone that wanted to pop in and say goodbye. I will also be having a celebratory drink Friday afternoon from 5pm at the Burnett Bowls Club for anyone who would like to join me.

We thought it was about time we properly introduced ourselves!

On 1 June, our family took over the gym. We’re a local Bundaberg family with two children, and after years in our previous careers, we decided it was time for a change and to pursue something we’re truly passionate about — helping people become the best version of themselves through fitness. 💪

It’s been a little bit scary, a lot exciting, and absolutely worth it. One of the best parts so far has been meeting and getting to know so many of our members. We’ve loved hearing your stories, learning about your goals and becoming part of the community that makes this gym so special. 🖤

We want to acknowledge the incredible contribution of Keegan, the previous owner and Club Manager, who dedicated 16 years to the club and its members. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he has built and for the community he leaves behind as he moves into the next chapter of his life. We wish him nothing but the very best! ❤️

For us, this isn’t just a business — it’s an opportunity to continue building a place where people feel welcome, supported and motivated to work towards becoming stronger and healthier.

Thank you for welcoming our family with open arms. We’re so grateful to be here and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us!
