🥋 The one thing we can’t teach is for a student to want to be there. This is why we’ve worked hard to create a welcoming culture that puts people at ease and rewards them for being brave enough to give it a go 👊.

When a student breaks a board and makes it look easy it’s normal for people not to see the many hours of work, effort and preparation that went into it. It’s common for people to not think about the amount of doubt, perseverance and resilience the student has had to put in over the years it’s taken them to get this far. For every board a student breaks “first go” they’ve had countless failed attempts, setbacks and even injuries. It’s why we LOVE seeing our students rise up, overcome and succeed in attaining their junior or senior black belts 🥋

These specialised classes are a place for our most serious students to practice board breaks, sparring and revise multiple facets of the Art. It’s going to be a GREAT Week 😀

It all begins with our Next Gen programs for 3-5yo preschool aged children 😀
These classes are where our youngest students learn their lefts from their rights and their rights from their wrongs.
To sit still and control their bodies.
To take turns and be patient.
To be active in a safe environment, and
To learn to follow instructions as part of a team.
