UniSport Australia has announced the cancellation of the 2020 Uni Nationals Division 1 & 2 that was set to take place in Perth in September.

While disappointed we won't get to see 🦅⚫️🔴⚪️ in action at Uni Nationals this year, La Trobe Sport is looking into opportunities for intervarsity sport to be played at the back end of this year; if and when it is safe to do so.

It was definitely a jam-packed day! We all had heaps of fun meeting all of the new faces who said they'd be interested in playing Rugby at La Trobe. 🏉

Also a huge thank you to our friends, the players from Melbourne Rebels and Rugby Victoria who came along to help promote our amazing game! Who was able to beat them in the passing contest? 🤨

For everyone who expressed their interest in playing Rugby in 2020, we will soon be sending out all the information you need to know about the team and our season ahead! If you didn't sign up on the day, send us a message through our club page and we'll make sure you don't miss out!

It's been such a great weekend in Bendigo. We can't wait to be back to play more Rugby 7s in 2020!

Bendigo Goldfields 7s! We’re happy to finally be here 🤩

Day 1: Played our first pool game against Bendigo Miners. Sadly, the home team were just too good so we copped a loss 17-0.

During the game, one player sustained an injury which prevented him from playing the second pool game, so we have unfortunately had to forfeit the rest of today.

We’ll be back tomorrow to represent on Day 2! 💪🏻

The 2019 Goldfields 7s officially the biggest one yet ⛏‼️

With 4️⃣3️⃣ teams competing in 8️⃣0️⃣ games across 4️⃣ fields over 2️⃣ days for $1️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣, the 2019 Goldfields 7s will be the largest 7s festival to ever hit Bendigo!

And its all happening this weekend at Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve!

Tomorrow night the La Trobe Rugby Club will be holding trials for all players who are interested in playing for our team at the Bendigo Goldfields Rugby 7s competition.
