"The General" 12 months gone but never forgotten. Every time I'm on the bike my thoughts always go back to to the times we shared traversing the many roads around regional Victoria and South Australia. You provided us with so many laughs and unforgettable moments that will live with us forever. I will never forget those immortal words as we climbed the very last peak of Mt Hotham. As everyone was gasping for air unable to talk the silence was broken with these immortal words "F% it, I'm done!" RIP big buddy. The One Eyed Brown Ducks.

Kalamundra 100 - 2020

Well we finally (nearly) got the old band back together. Whilst we might be a little slower and wearing kits that have somehow shrunk over time it was a very enjoyable morning dampened by the sombre occasion of why we were in Ballarat. We rode a route that was a favourite of Richard "The General" Beaumont our friend who sadly is no longer with us and who is deeply missed. I'm sure he was smiling at us from above listening to the same corny jokes and stories. Today was an opportunity to pay our respects to our much loved friend on a ride that we have dubbed The Richard Beaumont Tribute Ride. In the words of the great man "I'm done!"

Buon anno a te e famiglia. Started off 2020 today with a couple of laps around the mountain in full duck kit (inc socks). I guess we’ll be back here on the 12th Jan watching the serious guys go around. Although it won’t be the same without The General, he is always in our thoughts. So let’s catch up and celebrate the One Eyed Brown Ducks journey with a drink or two, and make it another great day out. Cheers 🍻
