Last Saturday Night we attended the Speedway Sedans Victoria Awards Dinner. I was honoured to be presented The 2026 Victorian Modified Sedan Ambassador of the Year Award! Have a lot of passion for the class and try to support it as much as Myself and our team can.

📢 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔/𝟐𝟕 𝐕𝐌𝐏𝐀 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞!

Unfortunately, following changes to the Timmis Speedway calendar the originally scheduled opening round for the VMPA, and long awaited return to the banks of Timmis Speedway on Saturday, 31 October is no longer available.

After many discussions and possibilities, The VMPA unfortunately was not able to confidently commit too the alternative dates in the best interests of our members, teams and supporters.

As a result, Round 1 will now be held at Blue Ribbon Raceway Horsham on Saturday, 31 October, allowing us to keep our planned season opener.

While this change was outside of our control, We are grateful to have secured Horsham and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

We hope to get back to Timmis speedway one day soon, and will continue to pursue events in our members best interests.

We look forward to seeing you all there to kick off another great season!

As the 2025/26 season comes to a finish it’s pretty cool to look back and appreciate the season we had that is hard to come across in such a competitive class. Definitely had luck go our way a couple times but we put ourselves in the right spot to get that luck when it mattered.

Definitely the highlight of the season was winning the Royal. It will always be something I’ll look back on and be appreciative achieving that accomplishment. Not only did it mean so much to myself but, to everyone that supports our team and the crew that deserved it.

Had a good few rounds of VMPA Australian Racing Products Series. Had a great opportunity to drive the WALSH Motorsport Falcon in the Tasmanian state title and grab 3rd in that one. 7th at the National Title was a great result with the best in the country. Getting another Ern Overall Memorial Win mean’t a lot and Taking out the Ned Kelly Cup was neat to add to the accolades as well.

Thank you to all the people that help us out during the season and give us the chance to do this. Racings experience so it’s simply not possible without all the sponsors chipping in.

What started off as a good night at B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway Mildura, ended up being a hot one 🔥

Went decent through our heats and started out of 2 for the final, stuck with Cameron Waters in the Merc for a couple laps but started to lose power steering so had to tone it down a little and just finish. 6 laps to go while running 2nd, something in the power steering lines let go and went all over the exhaust which caused a bit of a fire ball in the engine bay so that finished our night. Burnt a fair bit of stuff but lucky it’s the off season now.

H2 - 5th - 2nd
H3 - 9th - 1st
Final - 2nd - DNF

Congrats to Cam on the win, was cool to watch him back in a Mod.
