This is a good one. It’s a question that allows you to acknowledge the beliefs you once had that made you small.
The ones you shed when you decided to question them.
Creating shifts as you did.
Big or small.
Perhaps you once believed you:
♥️ Weren’t lovable then found self love
🚗 Couldn’t parallel park and now you can
💰 Were “bad with money” and now you own your own place
👯♀️ That people found you annoying, and now you have a solid tribe that digs your vibe
🍜 That you couldn’t cook, and now your family loves your lasagna/sponge cake/beans on toast
The way our brain is wired, it’s surprisingly easy to go from thinking or talking about an experience for it to become fully founded as a limiting belief.
It takes courage to go inwards, find the block, then take action to create a new neural pathway towards a more aligned belief.
With today’s journal question, spend a few minutes writing or thinking about what you once believed, and what empowering tenet you have today.
It’s a question that allows you to celebrate your growth.

Twenty magical moments from ’s Brisbane Riverstage gig.
I told myself to be present, to not film.
But when it’s a favourite band you’ve loved for 30+ years and the last time (or six times, ahem) you saw them live, there was no video-in-your-pocket, you let some sneaky snippets in.
Worth it, to be fair.
Because I still get amped when I watch these back and see Jarvis Cocker et al do their thing.
I often talk about how singing is good for your nervous system health.
I think sing-shouting to music you love at a concert with 8,999 other people might just be the ultimate healer.
I’m still buzzing.

Write or ponder this:
Where are you banging your head against the wall in resistance?
Resistance keeps you stuck.
It’s the jail you may not consciously know you locked yourself in.
It can manifest as fear, doubt, procrastination. preventing the very thing you say you want.
Take this journal prompt as your time to see where you’re resisting and discover the emotions or physical sensations that arise.
Sit with it.
Then ask yourself, how would my life be different right now if I let this resistance go?
