His figures of 6/29 helped 3rds to an 82 run victory over Surfers in their last game of the season!

Our Heritage Brothers Funeral Services Round Results for Round 21 with strong wins for our top 3 grades! 4ths & 5ths suffered heavy defeats while Overs 40s Div 3 had their Semi Final washed out at change of innings to finish their season.
1sts hosted Runaway Bay at home at finished 8/223 off their 45 overs thanks to tough runs from Shaun 71 (83 - 4x4s & 4x6s), Rhys 54* (41 - 4x6s) & Scott Sanderson 48 (65 - 2x4s) on a very sluggish outfield. In reply it was real team effort with the ball as Michael 2/26 (9), Darshan 2/35 (9) & Josh Murphy 2/40 (7) all took 2 fas tohave Bay all out for 193 in the 41st over for a 30 run win.
2nds were away at Runaway Bay and won a nail biter bowling Bay out on the final ball of the match. Batting first 2nds were all out for 159 in the 38th over. Tom 38 (38), Amaan 36 (72) & Kaidan 32 (39) all contributing with the bat. AT took a 5fa 🎯 (5/31 off 8) with Ben Hibbert having the job bowling the last over. Bay needed 6 off the last delivery to draw the game. Ben took the final wicket off the kast delivery to give 2nds the narrow win and finish with 4/25 from his 7 overs 🙌.
3rds had a strong win over Surfers at Mudgeeraba. Bevan 85* (46 - 6x4s & 3x6s) & Dan 59 (41 - 3x4s & 3x6s) were in ball striking moods before Josh Kelley hit 31* off just 16 as 3rds finished 4/248. In reply Ishaan Malhotra ripped through the Surfers line up to finish with 6/29 (8) as Surfers were all in the 39th over for 166, 3rds winning by 82 runs.
4ths were all out for 105 in the 22nd over vs Coomera Gold. Leroy with a brisk 33 (18 - 1x4 & 4x6s). In reply Coomera got the total 2 down in the 14th over.
5ths were vs Runaway Bay who tonked 5/327 in their innings. Emma with 3/53 (6). Emma continued her all round performance with 25 off 26 with the bat, top scoring as 5ths were all out in the 31st over for 135.
Over 40s Div 3 Semi Final on Sunday vs Coomera was always looking like it was going to be subject to weather sometime during the day. TC won the toss and batted first as Burleigh were all in the 28th over for 101. Brad Dixon top scoring with 37 off 44 (6x4s) in difficult conditions. Unfortunately rain came at the innings break and the match was abandoned with Coomera going through to the GF after finishing higher on the table.

Good evening Bullsharks,
One of our own has a tough fight ahead.
While at school last week, Tristan Annandale from our Open Div4 team suffered a significant brain bleed and is currently in hospital.
Tristan has previously faced serious health challenges, including a brain tumour, and his family has walked this road with incredible courage. Right now, their focus is simply being by Tristan’s side while he continues to fight and heal.
Tristan has been fighting incredibly hard and is starting to respond, showing real strength and determination.
If you know this family, you’ll know they are always the first to step up and support others in our community. Now it’s our turn to get behind them.
If you’re able to, please consider donating to Tristan’s GoFundMe. Let’s show the family the same support they’ve given so many others and let them know we’re all thinking of them.
Thank you for standing with Tristan and the Annandale family during this time. 💙🦈
