🌟2022 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 🌟
We are so excited to welcome Travis McLean who has been appointed as the Head Coach for the might Bombettes this season.

Playing AFL since he was 5 years old. Travis has played in the senior state teams for Victoria , New South Wales and Western Australia.

Travis has also played in 4 winning senior premierships and 4 winning inter-league Grand Finals across Australia.

Travis brings with him a lot of talent, experience and skill. Trav senses potential in every Bombette and believes with the correct training we can be a ‘top tier team’. Trav previously acted in an assistant coach role during the 2019 season and is excited to come back as head coach.

Travis will be bringing that razzle dazzle to the Bombettes this season.

The Burleigh Bombers Seniors have started back training Tuesday and Thursday nights at Christine Ave 5:45pm for a 6pm start sharp. Boys have been training rain, hail or shine.
Still waiting for a few boys to come back after a long and successful season in 2021.
But it’s out with the old and in with the new as John “Boxa” Boxer takes over as seniors coach. It’s time now to get back on the track and start building towards more success in 2022.
Don’t get left behind, everyone needs to earn there spot in 2022.
Really important to note the women’s teams have been training Monday and Wednesday nights and we thanks the ladies & Jacob Bottrill for taking those sessions. We can see the girls are super excited about the 2022 season ahead. The good news for the women’s team is we have Travis McLean Ex Carlton list player & former Burleigh Bombers player keen to take on the Burleigh Bombettes this season and oversee both grades. Travis is also a very keen Golfer and runs Custom Sports Group on the Gold Coast.
I’m sure and very confident that having Travis running our women’s program we can see our girls going to another level this season. This season will see the club bring the senior men’s, Women’s and the juniors closer together as one club, so please get behind the Burleigh Bombers’s Football Club as we

2022 season incoming!

We are so excited to kick off our pre season next Wednesday, 12 January 2022. We will be having a kick around the oval from 6pm.

We encourage anyone who has been thinking about playing AFL to come down and give it a go.
