🔥 Come and Say Hi at Burnie Bunnings! 🌭❤️
We’re firing up the BBQ today at Burnie Bunnings!
Pop in, grab a delicious snag and support a great cause. Every dollar raised will be donated to veteran Grant Whelan from Coles Bay, who recently lost everything in a devastating house fire.
Your support, whether it’s buying a sausage, making a donation or simply stopping by to say hello, will make a real difference.

We’re excited to introduce MOVET: Moving Veterans!
MOVET is a new transport and support service from The Veterans and Family Centre, helping eligible veterans and family members access healthcare appointments, wellbeing programs, community activities and other approved appointments.
Based in Burnie, MOVET is currently supporting veterans across Tasmania’s North West and Northern regions, while also facilitating transport from other locations across the state wherever possible. Our goal is to continue growing MOVET into a truly statewide service.
We look forward to helping you get where you need to go!
To learn more about eligibility, bookings or how MOVET may be able to help, please contact The Veterans and Family Centre.

🎯Option to opt out is on the 31st of July 2026🎯
The project aims to better understand veteran wellbeing over time by linking DVA data with ABS data to help inform future policies, services and support. It also explains how privacy is protected and how veterans can choose to opt out if they wish.
We encourage veterans and families to read the information and make an informed decision.

Something exciting is building at The Veterans’ & Families’ Centre!
We are starting our very own LEGO Library, giving veterans and families the chance to borrow a LEGO set, take it home and enjoy building it together. Borrow it, build it, bring it back to the Centre fully built and have your photo taken with your masterpiece. Then choose another set and do it all again!
We are starting with some fantastic sets, including the LEGO Land Rover Classic Defender and this very cute 101 Dalmatians set, with plenty more to come.
Do you have a complete LEGO set at home that is no longer being used? We would love to give it a new life in our LEGO Library.
To donate a set or find out more, email [email protected].
