The hills around Jimna echoed to the sound of rally cars at the weekend, when the Brisbane Sporting Car Club staged an event, the Bear Electrical Jimna Rallysprint, with 32 competitors.

✋ Never a dull moment with Shane behind the wheel ⚠️.
During the stage he calls a fire, gets to the stop point, then straight away the helmet comes off and the hat 🧢 goes on. Because even when there’s a bit going on, Shane still reckons you’ve got to be sun ☀️ smart 😎.
Then he heads off with the car bonnet up. Not exactly ideal, but he just keeps it moving 💪
And if you can hear the beeping, that’s Sylvie still making sure they beep at the spectator points. Fire, bonnet up, bit of chaos, but the spectators still get a ‘BEEP BEEP’ 😁

Day 20 Wrap Up. Goondiwindi to Brisbane DONE ☑️.
All up Ralky team travelled 9623kms over 120:30hrs.
NEXT: the focus is on prepping for QRC Round 2 Jimna Rallysprint where Shane and Aiden will compete as car 10 Racing Dipsy Rally Team banner and Sylvie will codrive with Kim in car 12 under the Acworth Recruitment banner.

😅 Day 19 Wrap Up: Cobar to Goondiwindi on the from to Brisbane 😎
We drove 704kms with only 350kms to go.
Picnic 🧺 at Gilgandra. Chinese for dinner, again, and a show (aka water tank light show).
WE’RE ALMOST HOME!!! 🤩
Day 18 Wrap Up: Wudinna SA to Cobar NSW
We drove 1127kms.
Saw the sun rise and set.
Highlight of the drive was the car in front of us signalling kangaroos 🦘 and other hazards on the road with their blinkers all the way from Wilcannia to Cobar.
Goal for to day, cross into QLD.
😅 Day 17 Wrap up: Eucla to Wudinna on the from Forest Rally Round 2 ARC - Australian Rally Championship to Brisbane QLD
Morning started with a trek to the Eucla jetty and then we drove.
Local dingo at the Nullarbor came to see if we would share our lunch; which was a nope.
Pepper the tow car clocked 110,000kms. For context, we bought Pepper with 52,000kms in March 2025.
Goal for today??? 10-12hrs driving.
