Caboolture Sports FC acknowledges Football Queensland's announcement yesterday confirming its decision to reverse the proposed competition access fee and retain the existing fee structure for the 2027 season.

While this is a welcome step forward and a positive outcome for clubs across Queensland, significant concerns remain regarding the substantial increases in player and team nomination fees, along with the lack of genuine consultation throughout the process.

Clubs deserve transparency, accountability and a meaningful voice in decisions that directly impact their operations, members and the affordability of football.
The attached statement outlines our position, the financial implications for clubs and our expectations of Football Queensland moving forward.

We remain committed to working constructively towards a more transparent, collaborative and sustainable future for Queensland football.
