***BCW 73 MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT***

Our fifth official match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 73 is a Gauntlet Match as THE BIG MAN JAMIE TAGATAESE faces CLETUS and BUSH KELLY – THE SUPER GROUSE BOGANS!

The rules of the Gauntlet Match are simple – TAGATAESE will face ether CLETUS or BUSH KELLY first and if he wins, he will then face other!

At BCW BEST IN BATTLE III TAGATAESE marched through two 2 on 1 Handicap Matches. At BCW 71: Best In Batte III Opening Round, TAGATAESE decimated The Artist Formerly Known as Lockie with the ‘war hammer’ as Jordie Sparkles ran out of the building and onto the highway to escape contact.

The following night at BCW 72: Best In Battle III Finals, TAGATAESE faced a cohesive unit in BEN & BREAKFAST, however they too felt the wrath of THE BIG MAN, who remains undefeated in the Battle Kingdom!

Not to be forgotten after each handicap match, CLETUS surprised TAGATAESE nailing him as payback for the attacks on himself and BUSH KELLY a few months ago.

Now with BUSH KELLY returning from Japan after a stint with BCW 47 Main Eventer – Taka Michinoku, THE SUPER GROUSE BOGANS are united and ready to end the streak of SAMOA’s GREATEST EXPORT!

On Friday 30 October 2026 will JAMIE ‘THE BIG MAN’ TAGATAESE continue his path of destruction OR will CLETUS and ‘GAIJIN’ BUSH KELLY be too much of a Gauntlet?

PARKER has been complaining since almost the dawn of the Battle Kingdom, that he has not received a BCW Tag Team Championship rematch since he and his then partner, Caveman Ugg lost out in the Finals of the BCW Tag Team Championship tournament to crown the first ever Champions!

THE BASTARD BROTHERS are the incumbent Champions, and EL NEGATIVO is now one of them having stepped in on numerous occasions as an honorary BASTARD BROTHER to defend the straps or stand in the way of havoc in the form of La Real Familia!

On Friday 30 October 2026 will THE BASTRARD BROTHERS be too much for SYD PARKER and his mystery partner OR will the mystery partner be someone as game as THE JURASSIC PUNK and fight for Gold?

BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING is saddened by the news of the passing of BILL DUNDEE.

A career that spanned sixty years from one end of the globe to the other, DUNDEE’s life was wrestling holding championships wherever he went.

A one-time USWA Unified Heavyweight Championship and a 28-time tag team Champion including three reigns alongside Jerry Lawler as the AWA World Tag Team Champions and one reign alongside Rocky Johnson as a CWA International Tag Team Champion.

We extend our sincerest condolences to all family, friends and fans across the globe.

R.I.P. 1943-2026

BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING is saddened by the news of the passing of THE BUTCHER ANDY WILLIAMS.

WILLAMS is remembered not only for his run alongside The Blade in All Elite Wrestling for a tenure that ran almost seven years but also for his musical talent as a rhythm guitarist for ‘Every Time I Die’.

Trained in the art of pro wrestling by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett, THE BUTCHER was a talented individual who impressed wherever he performed.

We extend our sincerest condolences to all family, friends and fans across the globe.

Our fourth official match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 73 is a BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH featuring THE BASTARD BROTHERS (c) VS THE JURASSIC PUNK SYD PARKER and a MYSTERY PARTNER!

THE BASTARD BROTHERS have been on the same page since BCW 68 where KRACKERJAK begged for forgiveness from GORE and together they defeated The Super Grouse Bogans for the BCW Tag Team Championships after answering an open challenge. Thereafter THE BASTARD BROTHERS went on to defend their titles against LA FAMILIA REAL (EL HIJO DEL LA PARK & LA PARK JR) with the assistance of El Negativo before a second defence against the odd pairing of Ryan Rapid and Christian Clutch.

On the flipside THE JURASSIC PUNK has returned to the Battle Kingdom but not yet found his place in what has been more than a year. Requesting an opportunity at success once more, THE JURASSIC PUNK has somehow convinced BCW Management that since he and his long-time former tag team partner Caveman Ugg made the finals of the inaugural BCW Tag Team Championship Tournament back at BCW 10, they were never given a rematch. With THE JURASSIC PUNK now present, he has requested his rematch, and he has declared that he will have a MYSTERY PARTNER to compete alongside him!

KRACKERJAK and SYD PARKER wrestled one another as a part of a Triple Threat Match at BCW Inauguration, it is now time for them to do it again with partners by their side and Gold on the line!
