Diamonds camp! 🖤🤍💎🏐🖤🤍

We're thrilled to share that Reuben Hansen, a member of our Inner West Men's Metro Team 1, was invited to the Australian Diamonds camp as a training partner at the Netball Australia Centre of Excellence, helping the Diamonds prepare for the 2026 Constellation Cup against the Silver Ferns.

Training alongside the best in the country is a huge achievement, and we couldn't be prouder. Well done, Reuben!

Congratulations Therri! 🩵

We're so proud to see Therri Ellison named a finalist for the 2026 Margaret Corbett OAM Coaches Award.

Therri gives so much of her time to our netball community. Coaching our players & mentoring our coaches, in both our Junior and Senior programs.

Thank you, Therri, for everything you do on and off the court. We are so grateful to have you.

Congratulations to Emma Penfold and Therri Ellison, who have been named finalists for the 2026 Margaret Corbett OAM Coaches Award.

Whether they're building successful teams, developing athletes, mentoring fellow coaches or creating positive environments for players to thrive, both finalists have made a lasting impact on the game.

The winner will be announced at the Netball NSW State Dinner & Awards on 31 October.

We're calling it: today's Court Clash was a net gain for everyone involved! 🏐💙

More than 180 young people served up energy, teamwork and plenty of fun at Cintra Park as we celebrated Mental Health Month through sport, connection and community.

Delivered through a fantastic partnership between Inner West Netball Association, Canada Bay Council, Cumberland Police Area Command, and SES Ashfield-Leichhardt, the event brought people together both on and off the court.

Participants also got the chance to meet some netball royalty, including Jo Harten, Tayla Fraser, Dylan Nexhip, Helen Housby, and Matisse Letherbarrow, who helped make the day one to remember.

The vibes were high, the passes were crisp, and the smiles were impossible to defend. Teams from Burwood PAC, Cumberland PAC and SES Ashfield-Leichhardt stepped onto the court to show that strong communities are built through teamwork, connection and a little healthy competition.

One thing is for sure: when it comes to supporting young people and mental wellbeing, we're always happy to step onto the court. Today's event was proof that sometimes the biggest wins aren't on the scoreboard, they're the friendships made, confidence built, and conversations started along the way.

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the day an absolute smash. We'd say it was a win by a fair margin... but who's keeping score? 😉🏐💙

We are still looking for volunteer Umpires to help out at this community event. Please DM if you can come along and Umpire for the day or even part of the day - lunch provided. It should be a great day of fun and of course Netball.

🖤🤍 ANNOUNCEMENT — UNDER 15 REPS 🖤🤍

We’re excited to announce the Under 15 players selected to move forward in the IWNA Junior Representative Program.

Congratulations to everyone progressing. Selection is another step in the process, with the upcoming training sessions providing the opportunity to continue building skills, combinations and performance.

REPRESENTATIVE SKILLS TRAINING
- Cintra Park
- Thursdays, 29 October – 26 November 2026
- 6.00pm – 7.30pm

Players progressing are required to attend the Representative Skills Training sessions.

UNDER 15 — PHASE 2 TRIAL
- Wednesday 25 November
- 8.00pm – 8.45pm, if required

Congratulations, Under 15s. We look forward to seeing you continue to work hard and make the most of the opportunity ahead.

2027 representative training will commence in early February.

Congratulations to the Under 14 players who have earned the opportunity to continue through to the next phase of the IWNA Junior Representative Program.

There was plenty of talent on display at selections, and we’re excited to welcome the successful players back to Cintra Park as the representative selection process continues.

These sessions form an important part of the program leading into Phase 2 trials.
