After an incredible 20 years on the committee, Nick Fucile is finally stepping away… although we’re not sure he’s really escaped us! 😂

Nick joined the club as a player in 2001 and became Secretary in 2007, a role he held for 15 years. He returned as Secretary again in 2025 when we needed him most.

A Club Person of the Year (2010) and Life Member (2014), Nick has made an incredible contribution to our club.

Before newsletters went digital, Nick and his family spent countless hours printing, folding and posting newsletters every month, these included plenty of Nick’s famous jokes and cheeky comments! 😄

Luckily, he’s not disappearing completely. In 2027, Nick will continue as our Archivist, keeping our player records and club history up to date.

Nick, thank you to you and your family for 20 years of dedication and everything you’ve done for the club.

Last Sunday, the Busselton Magpie Masters were honoured to be part of the Carlisle and Victoria Park AFLW Masters Kick for a Cure round. 🩷🏉

Our very own Sandra St Jack proudly represented the Magpies in the charity match, with her daughter Jasmine lucky enough to have her Golden Ticket drawn and join her Mum on the field. What a special moment! 🥰

Cheering loudly from the sidelines was Sandra’s sister Diane, who is also a breast cancer survivor. 💕 Such a beautiful and powerful family moment.

We’re so proud of Sandra and grateful to be part of such a meaningful day. 💗
