⚠️ ALL CLASSES CANCELLED THIS AFTERNOON ⚠️

Due to local flooding across the Moreton Bay area, all My Martial Arts classes this afternoon are cancelled to help keep our students, families and staff safe.

We’ll post an update here before 10am tomorrow to confirm whether classes can resume.

Please stay safe, avoid unnecessary travel and never drive through floodwater. 💛

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats when it’s safe. 🥋

Behind the scenes at the studio! 🥋

When they say running a family business is a team effort, they really mean it. 😅

Every little bit of help goes a long way in keeping our space clean, safe, and ready for our training community—even if the vacuum is almost bigger than our newest assistant!

One of the best parts of being local and family-owned is having our little helpers involved in the daily routine.

Huge shoutout to our hardest worker today for taking mat duty very seriously! 💙👏✨

🧡 Welcome to the My Martial Arts family, Jade! 🧡

We’re excited to welcome Jade to our instructor team!

Jade is a qualified swim teacher and junior league bowling coach, so helping children learn, grow and celebrate their achievements is already a big part of her life! 🌟

She came to MYMAA wanting to be part of something bigger — a community where she could support children throughout their journey, celebrate their milestones and make a lasting difference in their lives.

You’ll be seeing Jade around more as she gets involved in our Ninjas classes and community programs, helping our youngest students build confidence, learn new skills and have plenty of fun along the way! 🥋

Please say hello when you see her and help us give her a big MYMAA welcome. We’re so happy to have you with us, Jade! 🧡

What's the point of a spinning back kick you ask?

Clearly it's to break down furniture right?

🚧 EXCITING NEWS — OUR NEW PLAY GYM HAS ARRIVED! 🎉

Construction is officially underway in the kids’ play space at the back of the centre, and we can’t wait to reveal the finished result! 🤩

Our new play gym will give younger siblings and children a fun new space to enjoy while families are at My Martial Arts.

Please remember that the area is still under construction, so the equipment isn’t ready for climbing or playing just yet. We’ll let everyone know as soon as it’s officially open!

Who’s excited to see the finished play space? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
