🏉🐍 PETER RAFTER MEMORIAL CHALLENGE | U13 BOYS 🐍🏉

What a weekend for our U13 Boys! 🖤💛

14 Snakies made the 200km trip to take on the Peter Rafter Memorial Challenge, with some even hitching rides with other families just to make sure they could get there and play. That’s what footy family is all about! 🐍

Competing in Pool B in a 9-team competition, our results were:

🐍 Caboolture 18 – Murgon 32
🐍 Caboolture 24 – Pittsworth 14
🐍 Caboolture 56 – Lowood 0
🐍 Caboolture 64 – Cities 14

Finishing 2nd in our pool! 👏🏽🔥

But one of the best parts of the weekend was seeing the spirit of rugby league in action. Cities were travelling with only 10 players, so our boys backed up after their own games across both days to help fill their team. 💛

Then Hudson and Ryder got another special opportunity, swapping jerseys and lining up for Fassifern in the Grand Final! How good! 🙌🏽

Plenty of footy, plenty of food and drinks, plenty of laughs and some great memories made. Most importantly, the boys built on their skills, gained valuable experience and enjoyed every minute together.

A massive effort from all 14 boys and our families who made the trip possible. 🖤💛

This is what junior footy is all about. 🐍🏉
