Hi Dee, this is my story sharing - Prasanna

1. Why I Chose to Complete the Course
I chose to complete the Community Services course to develop my knowledge and practical skills in supporting individuals, families, and communities. I wanted to gain a better understanding of community support services and learn how to assist people from diverse backgrounds, including those who may need additional care and support. I also saw this course as an opportunity to improve my professional qualifications and create better employment opportunities in the community services sector.

2. My Experience with Aspire to Succeed
My experience with Aspire to Succeed has been positive and valuable. The course has helped me gain a better understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of working in the community services sector. I appreciate the learning opportunities and support provided throughout my studies. The course content has helped me develop greater confidence and a clearer understanding of how to provide respectful, compassionate, and person-centred support to individuals in need.

3. How the Course Has Supported My Employment Goals and Career Pathway
Completing this course has been an important step towards achieving my employment goals and building a career in the community services sector. It has helped me develop relevant knowledge and skills that can be applied in roles such as community support worker, disability support worker, and other community-based support positions, depending on the requirements of each role. The qualification has also strengthened my confidence and motivation to pursue further professional development and gain practical experience in the industry.

4. How Access to Funding Helped Me Achieve My Goals
Access to funding, where applicable, has helped make the course more affordable and accessible. It has reduced the financial burden of undertaking further education and allowed me to focus more on my studies and career development. This support has been valuable in helping me work towards my qualification and improve my future employment prospects.

Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to complete this course with Aspire to Succeed. The knowledge, skills, and confidence I have gained will support my future career development and help me contribute positively to the lives of individuals and communities.

CABOOLTURE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY 23/10
I wish to advise that the Caboolture office will be closed tomorrow due to the weather. The safety of my team and all students will always be the priority. Most of our team will be working remotely to still offer support, some trainers dont have equipment with them at home. Please send an email to your trainer or admin for any assistance.

I hope you are all doing well.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to each and every one of you for the incredible support, guidance, encouragement, and kindness you have shown me throughout my Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) training journey.

When I first began this journey, I was both excited and nervous. As someone originally from Sri Lanka, English is not my first language, and studying in Australia has sometimes been challenging for me. There were moments when I struggled to understand certain lessons, communicate my thoughts clearly, and complete assessments with confidence.

However, your patience, understanding, encouragement, and willingness to help made a tremendous difference. You helped me believe in myself and gave me the confidence to continue learning and improving.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the practical training and assessment team at Caboolture, including Alexis, for their guidance, encouragement, and assistance during my practical learning experience.

Completing my 120 hours of vocational placement has been a particularly meaningful achievement for me. It has allowed me to put my learning into practice and gain a deeper understanding of compassion, dignity, respect, teamwork, patience, and person-centred care.

Having now completed my final practical assessment, I feel incredibly grateful for the journey and for everyone who helped me reach this important milestone.

This experience has taught me much more than the knowledge required for a qualification. It has helped me grow as a person, improve my confidence, and develop a stronger sense of purpose in supporting others.

I will always remember the kindness, understanding, and encouragement I received from everyone involved. Your support has made a genuine difference in my life, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities you have given me.

I hope to carry the knowledge, values, and skills I have gained into my future career and make you all proud through my dedication, professionalism, and commitment to providing quality care.
