Will Kitching putting the new Admiral through its paces. Didn't take long before this flathead decided to test it too. 🦎

Early days on this reel and it's definitely earning its keep.

One from a recent outing. Slow morning, not much on the go, then this red came along.

Sometimes, a slow start makes for the best stories.

Nolsy and Brett headed out to chase some mangrove jack and managed a 5-10 min period of absolute mayhem. Brett got absolutely belted by a great size jack and at the exact same time Nolsy's line was smashed by a bull shark that hit so hard it broke his rod in half. Nolsy did a great job with half a rod of getting it up beside the boat. Brett was using the new Alvey 6 1/2 inch Admiral series reel loaded with Atomic Linez X8 braid on a custom made 10ft 6 rod, size 4 bean sinker, size 1 Gamakatsu Hyper Swivel, Atomic Linez leader, a snelled rig of a a size 7/0 and size 5/0 Gamakatsu Live Bait hook.
