Team TWW Cairns

A massive weekend for Team TWW Cairns in Bundaberg. Josh Don, Lucy Greg and Thomas took on the 2 day track carnival and Josh, Greg and Don raced the State Masters Criterium Championships on day 3. Track highlight performances were Thomas- won his 500m handicap and 2nd in the Wheelrace and derby. Greg made all finals and 2nd in mystery distance and won the elimination for Masters B. Don saved his best for the Criterium grabbing a hard earned 4th. Josh was tested by the endurance riders but came away with wins in the Keirin and Derby in Masters A. Lucy grabbed 5th in the wheelrace and second in the derby for Elite women. Greg and Josh decided enough was enough in the Crit and left early for the distillery. It is Bundaberg after all. The Christmas Elves were enchanted by the sweet potato supplied in the registration packs……

The Dynamic Duo, Josh and David went south to Townsville for the annual Cup on Wheels. David picked up a win in the scratch race, 2nd in elimination. Josh got 3rd in points race. Their target race, the Keirin, went to plan with David winning and Josh 2nd, Cairns Keirin winner Euan was 3rd. Thanks to Townsville for putting on a great carnival as usual.
