Gidday trendsetters it's been awhile but we have been working on the layout lately. Here some pics

It's been awhile between posts, helix version 2 has commenced, and further scenery installed...

Hi fellow Train Fans its been a while since we posted but life gets busy sometimes. The Helix is gone due to earth slippage etc from local rains and the new improved helix has commenced construction. As it climbs further photos will be posted.

Over the last few weeks, had time to lay rail, build some industry sidings, link the city to the helix and Natalie completed the wharf crane....

A little more work on the layout

Some time on the weekend to place scenery, add power feeds and swap out a faulty turnout

Busy with excavation, retaining walls, tunnels, pier and concrete Slab walls

Been busy with life but have put a few hours into scenery

Busy times over the last month with engineering projects constructing Freshwater Station, car carrier loading dock, digging out a rock cutting, adding greenery to the tunnel mountain and laying concrete roads (using self level concrete).....

A couple of big weeks with the senior engineer (Natalie) implementing earth works to complete the helix to the required elevation, old town completed, tunnel framework and lighting installed and the Southern Pacific Historical Society's carriages & steam engine maintenance facility....
