Lack of motivation can be a significant obstacle in achieving goals and making progress in life ✨
One effective strategy is to break down goals into smaller, more achievable tasks - which can make them feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
Discipline is a crucial component of achieving goals. It involves consistent action, self-control, and a willingness to persevere even in the face of challenges or setbacks. While motivation can provide an initial burst of energy - discipline is what enabled to sustain progress towards the goal over the long term 🙌🏼💪🏼

Starting your fitness journey can be quite daunting and hard to commit. Doing it with a friend or family member is a great way of 'breaking the ice' - you both work towards similar goals, pushing and motivating each other to pass beyond what you thought was capable.
Training with a partner and someone you respect makes it harder to ‘be slack’ , quit or stay at home. It’s also a fun and healthy way to be a little competitive with goal setting and training sessions! 💪🏼🙂

Stay consistent and enjoy the journey. There’s no massive changes overnight so try to see the bigger picture and give credit to yourself for what you’ve learned or achieved over a long period of time. You’ll get there 🧡

I hope everyone had a great weekend! ✨
•
I've personally had a few days off from training, and although I feel a bit guilty about it - I've also taken the time to listen to my body and realised that I have actually needed a few rest days.
•
Listen to your body - nobody knows your body as well as you do.
•
Rest days are essential for muscle repair, avoiding injury and overall performance.
•
Low impact exercise - going for walks, a swim at the beach or some yoga is a great way to stay semi active whilst recovering.
•
For me personally - I usually like to do some stretching, walk my doggy Wendy and enjoy a hot bath as part of my recovery on rest days.
•
Enjoy the time and don't feel guilty - your body needs it.

Morning walk with dogs, fresh juice and breaky afterwards!!
Don’t forget it’s always important to reset and not always get caught in the grind. Do things that make you happy and feel refreshed - and not just on weekends! Don’t get caught in a monotonous motion, relish the good things surrounding us. Here’s to a great week ahead! 🧡

Leanne’s rockin’ the Valkyrie shirt 🔥
What is a Valkyrie? They were powerful female figures from Nordic mythology - which depicts strength and the relentlessness of the Vikings - traits which I hope to inspire within my clients!
