Cairns Pregnancy Yoga is an offering from Hollie Swanton OT & Yoga.
As an OT, I assist people to find the meaning in their daily activities, and in particular help them regain the meaning as they move through difficult physical or psychological transitions in life. OT’s view people holistically, considering all aspects of what it means to be you, in all your unique-ness.
When it comes to pregnancy, soo many people have children, but we are all different. We all have different preferences and desires, however I believe that we all have one thing in common, and that we want it to be special, be meaningful and be treasured. It’s really a magical time of life. That’s why these classes and education sessions focus on connecting you inward, to your breath, to your body and to your mind, so you can listen and feel into what it is that YOU want out of this experience. I provide education around the physiology of birth, however YOU decide how you want to approach this with the techniques and movements we learn in class. How you connect in with your baby/ie when pregnant is up to you, and I would be honoured to see you come along to one of our offerings and share your journey into parenthood with us.
