🥈 Regina Pittard, repped hard at the Oceania Judo Championships and brought home silver — absolute grit.

Normally the beach is for chill vibes, bare feet, and maybe a swim - NOT THIS WEEKEND! Expect a clash of competitors and a tonne of (sandy) grit from these two 😏

NQ Judo would like to congratulate Claudine on representing Cairns Judo Club and Australia on the refereeing stage at the Oceania Championships this weekend!

With an incredible 56 years involved in judo, Claudine has dedicated her time to coaching and refereeing at local North Queensland competitions, helping shape and support our judo community for generations.

This weekend, Claudine will take her place on the international stage, officiating in the Kata division — a fantastic achievement and recognition of her experience and commitment to the sport.

👏 Congratulations Claudine, and thank you for representing NQ Judo with pride. Enjoy every moment of the experience!

A composed, controlled performance across both divisions — and an important one.

With the Oceania Championships next weekend, this was exactly the hit-out we needed. Good rhythm, sharp timing, and a chance to feel out parts of the field we’ll see again soon.
