🥋 Townsville Open
A new venue, a great day of competition, and a strong showing from Cairns Judo Club!
Hosted by Townsville Judo, the Townsville Open brought together competitors from Mt Isa, Mossman, Innisfail, Cairns, Mackay and Townsville.
Cairns Judo Club had three players on the mat:
🥇 Ody — Gold, +100kg
🥈 Ben — Silver, +100kg
🥇 Tim — Gold, -73kg
Across the day, our three players lost just one fight — an intra-club match between Ody and Ben.
That means two gold medals and a silver for Cairns Judo Club! 💪🥋
A great result for the club and a great opportunity for our players to put their training into practice against competitors from across North Queensland.
Well done, Ody, Ben and Tim! 👏
