The Company's business ceased trading in March 2020 due to COVID-19.

CAIRNS DIVE CENTRE STATEMENT RE COVID-19


In the current climate of uncertainty regarding the risk of COVID-19, Cairns Dive Centre/ Fitzroy Island Dive Centre reiterates that, as always, guest and staff wellbeing and safety is out utmost priority.

We are closely monitoring the global situation and actively taking steps to mitigate the impact and spread of COVID-19, otherwise known as the novel Coronavirus.

While this is an evolving situation, and we have no known cases in Cairns, we are adhering to the
advice from relevant health authorities as to the course of action.

Immediate / already initiated action include
• Reefkist – Our larger vessel -can carry up to 67 passengers, this is now capped at a 45
• Sunkist – Our smaller vessel and Fitzroy Island transfer vessel can carry up to 50 passengers and is now capped at 40. This reduction in numbers is a measure to allow for social distancing
• Glass bottom boat- Fitzroy Island – can carry up to 44 passengers- Now capped at 30
• Although always in place, further disinfection procedures have been implemented for stinger suits, masks, snorkels, BCD’s and all other dive equipment
• Vessels and all surfaces are heavily disinfected daily and throughout the day
• Buses and the check in offices are disinfected throughout the day, paying special attention to high touch areas.
• EVERYONE, including guests and staff, have easy access to hand sanitisation at all times
• Ongoing training is and will continue to be provided to our team members in order to provide the best possible information and updates to our guests
• Management are meeting regularly both internally and with other local operators to update action and change activities as required to ensure the safety of staff and guests.

Cancellation Policy:
• Our flexible Cancellation / Change policy allows you to book with confidence with guests now able to change/cancel their booking up to 24hrs before travel.
