What a brilliant way to wrap up our 2026 Juniors season — today’s presentation afternoon was filled with smiles, pride, and so many moments that reminded us why our club is such a special place to grow, play, and belong.

A heartfelt thank‑you to our incredible coaches and managers who took on teams this year with patience, passion, and unwavering commitment. Your guidance shapes our players far beyond the field. To all our parents and support figures, thank you for getting our Juniors to training, games, early mornings, late afternoons, and everything in between. Our club thrives because of your dedication.

A huge congratulations to our team award and club award recipients — your efforts, leadership, and spirit stood out all season, and we are so proud to celebrate you.

We also want to give a very special mention to Bruce, whose work with our goalkeepers and teams has been invaluable. His knowledge, calm presence, and genuine care have lifted our players in ways that will stay with them for years. To Jenny, thank you for coming down to support and guide our Juniors and Hockey Heroes. The experience and wisdom you both bring is extraordinary — we are truly lucky to have you as part of our Stingers family.

Finally, the biggest thank‑you of all goes to our President, Kellie. Without her tireless work behind the scenes, our club simply would not function. Her organisation, heart, and commitment keep everything moving, and we are so grateful for everything she does.

We’ve loved seeing cross‑club collaboration in action this season, with our J3 boys playing alongside Brothers Hockey Clubs. The teamwork, shared learning, and positive spirit between clubs has been fantastic — a real win for junior hockey in Cairns. Thank you Brothers for welcoming our J3 boys.

A huge congratulations to Emmett, who was awarded Most Improved! His hard work and determination have truly shone through, and we’re all so proud of his progress.

Here’s to strong partnerships, great hockey, and our juniors thriving together.

Second place in A Grade is something truly special — congratulations to our Trinity Stingers men on an outstanding 2026 season! Finishing runners‑up deserves to be celebrated. What a brilliant achievement for Coach Rod and the entire squad; you’ve set a benchmark the whole club is proud of.

Our cheer squad was out in full force last night too, keeping the Stingers Spirit buzzing from the sidelines and lifting the energy right to the final whistle. What a way to wrap up the season.
