Layering options in a jump board class:
Pressing in and out, calf raise, jumping, jumping with arms up, jumping in chest lift with arms forward, jumping in chest lift with arms behind head, alternating legs, single leg and much, much more 🎈🎈🎈❤️❤️❤️

This is a pretty chill workshop utilising exercises to help relieve tension in the eyes, face, neck and jaw.

There is so much to learn in Pilates! I was doing some roller work on the floor recently and then I remembered you can use it on the reformer. Haven’t done this one in a while! It’s fun and a great balance challenge, plus a nice release for the back and shoulders.

Love this delicious roll back over the box. Here we can enjoy some spinal articulation, some abdominal work and some thoracic extension all in the same exercise. It’s easy to flow from here into tabletop to do some challenging ab work and then roll up, pick up the straps for some chest expansion and so on 🩵
Lunges

Rolldowns/spine wave with arm variations
sit to stand/squats/arm scoops/hug a tree/ leg floats/upupdowndown/double leg float/teaser variation
Here’s one of my favourite exercises: lunges with the short box on the carriage up against the shoulder rests, with back heel up against the box. For my hypermobile and repeatedly rolled ankles, the box gives me a bit of support, feed back and stability to enjoy some lovely lunges.
From here it’s also easy to flow into some squats/sit to stand, and some arm scoops, among many other things!

I have a bunch of family stuff and things on in June so the next workshops are in July.
Abdominals Snowman has a few spots left in house and you can also join in online from home if you have a reformer. In this workshop I’ll use a layering format to help reduce tension in your neck during supine abdominal work and also some strengthening exercises for your core, help support your neck, and some breathwork.
