Located just minutes from the centre of Cairns, the picturesque golf club is the latest to sign the R&A Women in Golf Charter, reinforcing its commitment to creating more opportunities for women and girls in golf.

2026 Junior Open

The Gordonvale Golf Club want to give a big shout out to the FNQ Junior Golfers and parents that participated today at the GGC Open.

Players and parents were very professional with their respect for officials and competitors, golf etiquette and dress code.

It was an absolute pleasure to host such a talented and humble group of sports people at our country club. Very impressive to see such a strong, talented group of players showcasing their skills today.

Congratulations to everyone that made the weekends event a challenging and rewarding experience for everyone.

What an exciting finish it was with the sudden death play-off for 18 hole boys gross champion with Gordonvale junior Zenon Wilesmith taking home the crown with a nail biting finish on the green.

Applications for parents, carers and guardians to apply for vouchers are now open.

Eligible Queensland families can apply for up to $200 to help children aged 5–17 participate in sport.
