Congratulations to the Top 10 nominees for the FNQRL Women's Gold Medal Award!

This year's list is a fantastic reflection of the incredible talent across our competition, with players representing a number of different clubs from throughout the region. It's exciting to see such strong representation and highlights the depth and quality of women's rugby league in Far North Queensland.

The FNQRL Gold Medal is one of the competition's highest individual honours, recognising outstanding performances, consistency, and excellence throughout the season. To be named among the Top 10 nominees is a remarkable achievement, and every player should be extremely proud of their efforts.

The 2026 FNQRL Women's Gold Medal winner will be announced at the FNQRL Gold Medal Dinner on Friday, 28 August.

🏉 FNQRL Women's Semi Finals – Friday Night Footy! 🏉

The road to the Grand Final begins this Friday, 24 July, as our FNQRL Women's Semi Finals take centre stage alongside the Junior Girls Semi Finals for an action-packed evening of rugby league!

📍 Venue: Jones Park
Field 1

🕠 5:30pm – Qualifying Semi Final
1st vs 2nd

The top two teams will battle it out for a direct place in the FNQRL Women's Grand Final.

🕖 6:50pm – Elimination Semi Final
3rd vs 4th

It's sudden-death footy, with the winner advancing to next week's Preliminary Final, while the losing team's season comes to an end.

Expect big hits, thrilling tries and plenty of finals intensity as our Women's competition reaches the business end of the season.

Get down to Jones Park, support your team, and enjoy a fantastic evening of rugby league as our Women's and Junior Girls competitions light up the field!

🥉 3rd vs 4th – Knockout Final
The losing team is eliminated, while the winner progresses to the Preliminary Final.

⏰ Second Timeslot

🥇 1st vs 2nd – Qualifying Final
The winner earns a direct place in the Grand Final, while the losing team will have a second chance in the Preliminary Final.

🏆 Be sure to come down to Jones Park and support all of our incredible junior female athletes as they compete for a place in the Grand Final!

💙 The Women's Semi Finals will also be played on the same night at Jones Park. Team announcements and further information for the Women's competition will be released next week.
