1. Someone to set out the signs from Clifton Beach to Palm Cove, and then pick up the marshal spot in Palm Cove (corner Veivers Road and Williams Esplanade)
2. A helper at the recording table at the finish line.

Good morning, Clifton Beachers. Unfortunately, the poor weather and unsafe conditions on the roads today have made it impossible to do the race. Together with the heavy rain over night, and a high tide at around 7am, a section between Clifton Beach and Palm Cove is probably also flooded.

We will contact Cairns Regional Council this week to negotiate another date for the event.

We'll update you as soon as we have more details.

Clifton Beach race postponed. We will reschedule the event in a few weeks. It is too wet and the course is not safe.
