We have two tour options-

Sunrise Kayak Tour - 6am - 9am (3 hours)
Half Day Kayak Tour - 7am - 11am (4 hours)

The weather this week looks UNREAL for our Kayak Turtle Tours to Double Island, just off Palm Cove.

If you’ve been waiting for a good time to do it.. the time is now!

Very light winds from tomorrow (Tuesday 26/8) until Friday (29/8) means calm seas and lots of marine life to spot!

Today we saw a Dugong! And ist wasn’t even a calm morning! So we are hoping we can find him again on our tour tomorrow.

Family friendly and the next few days are perfect for beginners to kayaking too.

➡️ Our 2.5 hour drift takes you downstream through the beautiful Redlynch Valley and Rainforest in Cairns, FNQ.

✅ You can come alone on the tour too, or as a couple/ friends. Everyone is welcome.

🛶 Join our expert guides and learn all about the rainforest, the birds and the native wildlife.

This tour is mostly a downstream gentle drift, with a few faster currents dotted throughout (for a little bit of adventure!) but it’s still pretty tame.

🦎 See some amazing wildlife in its natural habitat- we’ve seen cassowaries and water dragons this week!

We're on the lookout for two awesome guides to join our water-loving crew here in sunny Cairns! If you thrive on salt air, early mornings, and sharing epic ocean and rainforest adventures with others – we want to hear from you.

🌟 1. Kayak Tour Guide
Based in Palm Cove and Redlynch Valley, you'll be guiding:

Our famous Double Island Sea Kayak Tours, and our magical Rainforest Drift river experience.

What we're looking for:
✔️ Confident on both ocean and river kayaks
✔️ Experience guiding outdoor or nature-based tours
✔️ A friendly, relaxed attitude with solid communication skills
✔️ First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to get it)
✔️ Available to start ASAP, ideally until October or longer
(Locals welcome! So are backpackers who are here for a few months.)

🪁 2. IKO-Certified Kitesurfing Instructor
Join us at Yorkeys K**b and spend your days riding and teaching in one of Australia’s most beautiful kite locations.

What we're looking for:
✔️ IKO Level 1 or higher
✔️ Professional, safety-conscious, and confident in your teaching
✔️ Friendly, encouraging, and great with beginners
✔️ Able to work independently and manage lessons
✔️ Committed to staying for the full windy season (now through October)
